FDA- Unlucky race for Zampieri

Monaco, 16 May – Unfortunately, Daniel Zampieri’s race came to a premature end on the streets of Monaco, in the one World Series race this weekend, the third round in the championship, held in the Principality this weekend. At the wheel of the Pons Racing team car, the young Roman driver ended up in the crash barriers at the exit to the Massenet corner, on the thirteenth lap of a race that saw several accidents. The finishing order replicated the starting grid from yesterday’s qualifying, with pole man Daniel Ricciardo (Tech 1 Racing) winning from pole position, ahead of Mikhael Aleshin (Carlin) and Albert Costa (Epsilon-Euskadi.) The Ferrari Driver Academy driver leaves Monaco in sixth place in the championship and is preparing to get back in action at the Brno circuit in the Czech Republic over the weekend of 6 June.
