Ferrari red and the passion of the fans set the tone for the weekend at the 6 Hours of Imola, where the 499Ps took centre stage in round two of the 2025 FIA World Endurance Championship. A Hyperpole and race victory for the Ferrari 499P number 51 sparked celebrations among a crowd of over 65,000 Tifosi, all cheering for the Italian team. Fans can relive the emotion and adrenaline of the weekend in a new episode of “Full Access: The Red Line”, available on the official Ferrari YouTube channel.
The story begins well before the engines roar into life at the track. As always, “The Red Line” gives a behind-the-scenes look at the Ferrari – AF Corse team, featuring scenes and conversations from the days leading up to the race.
A colourful and dynamic storyline unfolds from the arrival of the 499Ps in the paddock at the Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari to the drivers receiving a warm welcome in the city centre the night before the race – and even the unexpected sight of Alessandro Pier Guidi, fully suited and helmeted, at Imola’s historic public library, which dates back to the 18th century. The video takes viewers through to the start of the weekend’s timed practice sessions.
The Ferrari 499Ps showcased their full potential on the undulating layout of the Emilia-Romagna circuit. In every timed session, a 499P topped the timesheets in preparation for the weekend’s most anticipated stages.
The Hyperpole – secured by Antonio Giovinazzi in the 499P number 51 that he shares with Pier Guidi and James Calado – set the tone for an unforgettable race. After winning the Centenary edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2023, the trio claimed their second victory in the top class. Despite a remarkable early comeback from 18th to fourth, the number 50 crew of Antonio Fuoco, Miguel Molina and Nicklas Nielsen ultimately finished outside the points. Meanwhile, the number 83 entry of the privateer AF Corse team – crewed by Yifei Ye, Robert Kubica and Phil Hanson – finished just off the podium in fourth.
