Maranello 27 October 2025
Lorenzo Ferrari and Mahaveer Raghunathan, driving the AF Corse Ferrari 296 GT3, missed out on the Italian title in the Sprint series of the Italian GT Championship by just four points. The Monza weekend, which hosted the last round of the season, brought a number of class wins and podium finishes.
Campionato Italiano Gran Turismo. The curtain has come down on the Sprint series championship at Monza, where a fourth-place finish and a win in GT3 Pro Am proved insufficient for the AF Corse Ferrari 296 GT3 number 51, crewed by Lorenzo Ferrari and Mahaveer Raghunathan, to claim the Italian title. The pair were runners-up in the overall standings, just four points behind the champions. In the same class, Leonardo Colavita and Ibrahim Badawi secured third place in Race-1 and second in Race-2 at the wheel of the team’s sister car, the number 62 Ferrari.
The final weekend at the Lombardy circuit brought plenty of joy, beginning with a double-win for Han Huilin in the GT3 Am category, driving the Target Racing Ferrari 296 GT3.
In the GT Cup 2nd Division Pro Am, Riccardo Paniccià and Montego Maassen claimed victory in the number 412 MRNC12 Ferrari 488 Challenge Evo, while in the Am, Alessandro Marchetti and Rodolfo Massaro won the final race of the season in the number 555 Scuderia Emme Ferrari 488 Challenge Evo. Ireland’s Lyle Schofield joined them on the podium, finishing second in SR&R’s Ferrari 488 Challenge Evo.
