Weekend preview: at Sandown to defend championship lead

The GT World Challenge Australia returns for its fourth round of the season at Sandown International Raceway, featuring two Ferrari 296 GT3s entered by Arise Racing GT.

Against the backdrop of the exclusive GT Festival Sandown, part of the Shannons SpeedSeries from 25 to 27 July, the Australian series resumes at Sandown International Raceway for round four of the 2025 season. Jaxon Evans and Elliott Schutte, driving the number 26 Ferrari 296 GT3 entered by Arise Racing GT, lead the championship standings, 118 points clear of their closest rivals on 96. Currently eighth in the standings, Steve Wyatt returns in the number 77 Ferrari 296 GT3, also entered by Arise Racing GT. He shares the car with Jordan Love, who rejoins the team after missing the previous round in Queensland. Arise Racing GT also leads the team standings.
The GT World Challenge Australia features an action-packed schedule, starting on Friday with two free practice sessions and pre-qualifying. Saturday includes Qualifying 1 from 11:15 to 11:30 a.m., followed by Qualifying 2 from 11:40 to 11:55 a.m followed by Race-1 from 3:05 to 4:05 p.m. Race-2 takes place on Sunday from 2:05 to 3:05 p.m (local times).
